How do you treat full-service campaigns vs. project-based work?

As equally important and worthy of our full attention. We‘re always happy to tackle one-off projects that give clients a leg up on results or integrate award-winning and impactful messaging with client-managed campaigns. Full-service campaigns are our specialty, allowing the District team to set the foundation with strategy, creative and messaging and executive across all channels using real-time metrics to drive results. 

What if we have a tight budget or limited resources?

We can discuss a variety of solutions to give you the most bang for your buck. In the past, we’ve helped clients with tight budgets by sticking to an agreed-upon pool of hours, limiting rounds of revisions, doing digital-only campaigns—too many options to list here, but we’ll work with you on a case-by-case basis to assess resources, leverage our strengths and divide and conquer with your team.

How do you learn about/become experts in your client’s industries?

Our first step with any new client is a full discovery session—whether by “interview style” discussions with key stakeholders and staff or just an in-depth review of reports, surveys, and historical data. We also subscribe to industry newsletters, scan media for industry news, keep an eye on competitors, listen to podcasts—really anything that lets us hear how people inside that industry talk about their work, learn what’s important to them, and stay up to date on important industry developments.

What if we’re not an association or in the event/tradeshow industry?

We still have a lot of expertise to share with you. Many of our clients have been trade associations with big events, but we also have extensive experience with non-event revenue generation and sales campaigns, product marketing, membership marketing, and other clients and deliverables. As a group, we’ve worked on clients ranging from the Washington Wizards to window distributors, baby formula and pharmaceutical manufacturers, charitable foundations, health insurance, Fed-Ex, and even an airline.
